Dr. Akhil Mehta is a Board Certified Cosmetic Dentist located in Scottsdale Arizona. Dr. Mehta transitioned to the U.S. from India in high school, and then went on to receive his Masters in Chemical Pharmacology from Purdue University and his Dental Degree from the University of Tennessee. He has been in the dental field for over 10 years and specializes in complete smile transformations.
Dr. Mehta continues to seek out advanced training opportunities in order to provide his patients with the most up-to-date services in Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a premier Invisalign provider and is passionate about ‘Smile Makeovers’ using cosmetic crowns, dental veneers and dental implants
Dr. Mehta is Adjunct Faculty at New York University Dental School, training dental students on international outreach programs. He has been on mission trips to rural India and Nepal to provide dental treatment and education. He is also a professional educator/lecturer with Sonendo, providing case studies for “Gentle Wave,” the latest root canal technology.
Dr. Mehta and his wife transitioned to Arizona in 2014 and have found their forever home! Dr. Mehta and his wife enjoy spending time with their little dog, Wobi, and their daughter Elina. They love to cook together, hike and ride their bikes to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! They also have a passion for traveling around the world!
